Welcome to Country Hills
Country Hills is a residential neighbourhood in the north-east quadrant of Calgary, Alberta. It is bounded by Country Hills Boulevard to the north, by Beddington Trail to the east, by Harvest Hills Boulevard to the south, and by Harvest Hills Boulevard to the west. The neighbourhood is not only close to the airport and to the major highway to the north. Country Hills Boulevard gives it fast access to the Trans-Canada Highway to Banff.
Country Hills it is bordered by the Country Hills golf course and the West Nose Creek. The new community of Country Hills Village is located in the north-east of the neighbourhood.
Country Hills was established in 1990 and is part of the Northern Hills Community Assocation.
The Northern Hills Community Association consists of the communities of Country Hills, Coventry Hills, Country Hills Estates, Panorama Hills Estates, Country Hills and Panorama Hills. These communities are all newer developments and are located in the city’s northwest. There are several golf courses in the area, as well as numerous restaurants, shopping facilities and a theatre.
Two historical sites, the Reverend George McDougall Cairn and the John A. Lewis Rock Quarry are located in Panorama. Residents of Northern Hills can access the Nose Creek Valley and the West Nose Creek Valley.
